The wait is over for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 fans, who can now enjoy the new zombie survival experience on the Citadel of the Dead map. This massive French castle in Avalon is the next destination on the game's roadmap and will be available starting December 5.. The cinematic map preview trailer shows us the Requiem crew after their escape from Terminus. However, they're not just there to greet an old friend, Sergei Ravenov, as they're looking for a certain Craft who “could bring Maxis back.” Presumably, they are referring to Samantha Maxis, a former enemy turned ally before her tragic death when she sacrificed herself to seal the Dark Aether portal.
The Requiem team has a new member, Maya Aguinaldo, who seems to pique Sergei's interest. However, he does not feel the same towards William Peck, with whom, even if their goals temporarily coincide, he will almost certainly betray the team at some point, especially since it was he who organized their escape from Terminus.

The trailer focuses largely on the point of view of Sergei, who seems surprised and happy to see his former allies alive. However, it soon becomes clear that this is not just a courtesy visit, as the Requiem crew needs their help to find Craft and bring Maxis back.
The zombie campaign story continues in Citadel of the Dead, and players can expect an exciting and challenging gaming experience. As you progress through the story, you'll encounter new characters, challenges, and objectives that will test your survival skills.
