The series based on the PlayStation game Horizon Zero Dawn, developed for Netflix, has reportedly been canceled.
Apparently there won’t be a series based on the successful video game Horizon Zero Dawn after all.
As Cheyenne Roundtree, reporter at Rolling Stone, reports, the development of a Horizon Zero Dawn series as well as an original series, Orbital, will not continue for Netflix.
Both were projects by Steve Blackman, the showrunner of the Netflix series Umbrella Academy.
The possible separation of Netflix and Blackman’s projects could be the result of Blackman’s alleged toxic behavior, which Rolling Stone also reported on last week. At least twelve people accused him of being a manipulative bully, among other things. Blackman denied the allegations.
