Ironflesh is set in an alternate reality where humanity must fend off the invasion of a voracious, all-consuming biomass known only as “Flesh.” When an experiment on a lunar research base goes horribly wrong and the lead scientist, Yuri Markov, is assimilated by his own test subject, humanity suddenly finds itself in a fight for survival. After the flesh-infected Markov opens a portal to Earth, his new army of flesh creatures begins their rapid spread across the region.
The forest
You’ll immerse yourself in the invasion first hand as you walk through a stretch of forest soaked in the blood of your fallen comrades as crimson rain falls around you. Volleys of gunfire light up the trees in the distance – a sign that your comrades are desperately trying to stop the seemingly endless hordes.
The flesh-infested base
Set in a fallen research base, you’ll fight your way through halls and corridors overrun by monsters, with floors littered with scientist corpses and half-infected mutilations. In this cave of horrors, some flesh monsters have evolved and integrated into the base’s technology, allowing them to control various mechanisms of the former human fortress.
The runaway train
Not even a moving train is safe from eating the meat! You’ll jump from train car to train car, racing through infected humans and fleshy growths just waiting to tear you to pieces! And if that’s not enough to make you lose hope, you’ll have to shoot down flying cars that have turned into hungry monsters – complete with their infected drivers!
The burning city
As you walk the streets of a once densely populated city, all you find are pits of fire and mountains of fleshy vines waiting to devour you. Infected soldiers target you from destroyed apartment complexes and broken turrets have no favorite to shoot at! And just when you thought the flesh couldn’t get any more incredibly evolved, you’re faced with a giant house of monsters eager to feast on its next meal: You.
