Many of you took a look at gameplay during the closed beta last month, and I’m excited to announce that mankind, the 4X strategy game from Amplitude Studios and Sega, will be available on the first day of PC with Xbox Game Pass!
mankind is a convergence of culture, history and values that enables you to create a civilization as unique as you are. You will rewrite the entire narrative of human history (… without pressure) from its humble beginnings in the Neolithic, as you set out to make the biggest mark on the world.
This is more than history, it is Your Story.
To create your unique civilization, combine 60 historical cultures from ancient times to modern times. Each of these cultures will bring a unique layer that will produce nearly endless results. You will continue to adjust your civilization with every act you accomplish and every moral choice you make. Everything you do increases your fame, and the player with the most fame wins the game.
Show your strategic skills in deep tactical battles, make scientific breakthroughs and build a sprawling empire. You have to decide which civilization to shape and develop a strategy to leave the deepest mark on the world.
