id Software is already working on its next big exclusive

QuakeCon 2022 started yesterday, and there are already several news that this long-awaited event has left us. For starters, we’ve seen a new wave of games land on PC Game Pass; but without a doubt one of the great news has come to us from the hand of id Software.

And it is that during the event, Marty Stratton confirmed what was already an open secret, and it is that id Software is currently immersed in the development of its next great game.

The id team is hard at work on our next big game…although we’re not quite ready to share those details just yet…

Taking into account that the last title published by Identification software was the marvelous DOOM Eternal, a game released in 2020, it was to be expected that sooner or later the studio would announce its next big title. At the moment we only know that the studio is working on the development of this new game, but no other details have been revealed about it at the moment.

We will still have to wait for future statements from the study to learn more about this new title. Stay tuned to Xbox Generation to stay tuned for all the news related to the next title from this renowned studio that is currently part of the Xbox Game Studios family.
