Machine Games confirms that Xbox Series X and Series S will reach 60 frames per second
There’s just over a month left until the premiere of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on Xbox Series X|S, PC and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and now the studio that created the title confirms the graphics options. Machine games ensures that both Xbox Series X and Series S will reach 60FPS in its performance mode.
All this was confirmed by an interview with Windows Central with the creative director Axel Torveniuswho explained what to expect from the adventure with the famous archaeologist. In the conversation there was also space to comment on the graphic performance of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which worries players.
“We may share even more details in terms of specific details, technical details, as we get closer to launch, once we see all the performance telemetry. But what I can tell you is that the ambition is for the game to run at 60 FPS on Xbox Series. This should sound consistent and run smoothly into the 60s in both cases.
Ultimately, as has been demonstrated with titles like Starfield, Redfall and others, these consoles, including the Xbox Series S, are capable of rocking modern games at 60 FPS. The work of the studios is essential to get the most out of current generation consoles.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will arrive on December 9, 2024 on Xbox Series X|S and PC, in addition to arriving on Game Pass at launch. It will also launch on Playstation 5 in spring 2025, which has caused great controversy among Xbox console users.
