Indiana Jones game development started between 2019 and 2020

This is undoubtedly one of the big unknowns that Xbox fans want to solve. What awaits us in the new game Indiana Jones from Machine Games? Ok, because of the franchise we know that it is an adventure game and that it is inspired by the opus “Raiders of the lost ark”, this one being my favorite episode, I looking forward to knowing more.

We only saw one little CG teaser it doesn’t shed much light, beyond the fact that it looks like they’re going to respect the aesthetics of the films and the universe in general. At the time of the reveal, the game wasn’t ready to show, so we all assumed it was an episode that had years ahead of us until we saw it.

Indiana Jones: We may see him sooner than expected

Thanks to an update to the LinkedIn profile of one of the studio’s employees, we know that development began between 2019 and 2020. Speculation about it from 2019 was already swirling in the air, but we had nothing tangible about it.

This means that we may be able to see it sooner than expected. I wouldn’t expect it for 2023, but I don’t see it unreasonable to see a little more polished gameplay next year.

We look at the series as a whole, but also the old video games, in the comics… we just want to make sure that everything we do is in the tradition of the series, with a story that works and that sticks to tradition, without contradicting what has been said to date.
