Yesterday around this time without delay, Bethesda announced that the studio that created the last Wolfenstein (MachineGames) is developing a new game Indiana Jones. The news spread like wildfire on the networks and in a few minutes this bomb was already on the cover of almost all magazines dedicated to video games.
As expected, after an announcement of this magnitude, speculation immediately began that the Indiana Jones Project could interfere with the development of other Bethesda heavyweights such as Starfield or The Elder Scrolls 6. This doubt arose afterwards. having known that Todd Howard will also oversee this new game and the two mentioned above, hence the doubts that these big developments could hurt each other.
Pete Hines confirms Indiana Jones won’t slow Starfield and the Elder Scrolls 6 development
Through a brief message on social networks, Pete hines clarified that there will be no problem in the development of these games although Howard is the supervisor of all:
Todd is currently the executive producer of numerous projects at Bethesda Game Studios and beyond, as he is also involved in the Fallout TV series. Either way, your primary targets remain Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6, which will not suffer any delays due to recent news.
Todd is currently an EP on numerous BGS and other projects, such as the Fallout TV show. Its main focus remains the realization of the next Starfield and TES6 games, which are unaffected by today’s news.
