With the Indie Box, the entire XboxSquad editorial team offers you mini reviews of very little known or featured indie games. While some don’t deserve to step out of the shadows of the Xbox Marketplace, others might be worth a look. That is the whole subject of this secti on.
Happy mix of roguelike and tower defense dead ground requires you to survive numerous waves of enemies in procedurally generated levels. In this post-apocalyptic universe there are many you would like to kill, but luckily you can count on reinforcements in addition to your weapons.
Indeed, if the armory is well equipped, you can collect various materials from your opponents’ corpses and construct structures to defend yourself. No matter what happens to these buildings, only your life matters. So try to survive or it’s game over!
Entertaining, but technically very weak, dead ground will keep you busy between two AAAs at best, but nothing more.
I loved :
- The mixture of action and tower defense
- 1000G fast
I’m sorry :
- Terribly slow aiming
