Inner Ashes is a unique and heart-wrenching first-person adventure that puts players in the role of Henry, a ranger who has been diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer’s. Explore his mind to find out why his only daughter Enid has disappeared from his life. Journey through unique and dreamlike scenarios based on Henry’s everyday life and mind.
Inner Ashes game mechanics draw on elements that help Alzheimer’s patients to manage their symptoms. Solve tangram puzzles to stimulate Henry’s memory and allow him to uncover important memories from his life with his daughter Enid. Uses post-its to help Henry recognize objects, remember how to use them, and decipher past memories.
Help Henry regain his memories and unravel the mysteries behind Enid’s disappearance. In each scenario, players explore Henry’s mind, represented by multiple dream-like islands.
