The new MultiVersus trailer shows first gameplay of horror film icon and future playable character Jason Voorhees.
Warner Bros. Games today released a new MultiVersus trailer that offers a first look at the gameplay of horror film icon Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th franchise. Jason Voorhees will be joining the free-to-play platform fighter video game as a playable character on May 28th.
In the trailer, Jason towers over the competition as a tank-class character with a fearsome moveset that includes his axe and machete weapons, the teleportation ability to appear right behind enemies and stuff them into a sleeping bag, the deadly folding of a bed in half to hurl enemies off the map, and more.
The video also shows a look at the “Uber Jason” character variant, based on his appearance in the Jason X movie.
MultiVersus, developed by Player First Games, will be available as a free-to-play download on May 28th for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) and offers full support for Cross-Play and Cross-Progression.
