According to new reports, Take-Two Interactive has decided to close Kerbal Space Program 2 developer Intercept Games.
As a result of Take-Two Interactive’s major cost-saving initiative, in addition to Rollerdrome developer Roll7, Kerbal Space Program 2 developer Intercept Games is also reportedly set to close completely.
A former employee recently confirmed this about X his dismissal, associate producer Grace Tuohey-Kay and community manager Dakota Callahan indicate on their LinkedIn profiles that they are “open to work.”
Another indication of the closure, which has not yet been officially confirmed by Take-Two and Private Division WARNING notice of Washington State, which companies are required to submit 60 days before initiating mass layoffs.
There is talk of the closure of an unnamed Seattle studio and the layoff of a total of 70 employees. Intercept Games is the only Take-Two-affiliated development studio based in Seattle.
