Comedy-horror boomer shooter Killing Time: Resurrected brings supernatural thrills and camp HD full-motion video to PC and consoles
Video game remaster developer Nightdive Studios and multiplatform publisher Ziggurat Interactive are releasing Killing Time Resurrected, an HD edition of the iconic horror boomer shooter once dubbed “the bastard child of Doom and The 7th Guest.”
Nightdive Studios and Ziggurat Interactive’s challenging shooter with gallows humor and visual violence is now available for Windows PC and consoles.
Set in the early 1930s, Killing Time Resurrected puts players in the role of a former Egyptology student trapped on the estate of wealthy heiress Tess Conway.
Ms. Conway’s ritual to give her eternal life backfires, and her high society friends disappear without a trace.
It’s up to players to find and destroy the mystical Egyptian Water Clock to reverse the curse and face a legion of supernatural horrors.
The original Killing Time quickly became a hit among action, adventure, mystery and puzzle game fans upon its release in 1995.
Killing Time: Resurrected features switchable, high-resolution character graphics/sprites from the original 3DO and PC versions of the game, upscaled environmental textures, smoother gameplay, more responsive controls, and expanded control and button binding settings.
