Nightdive and Ziggurat’s comedy-horror boomer shooter ‘Killing Time: Resurrected’ will be released on October 17th.
Nightdive Studios and Ziggurat Interactive announce that Killing Time: Resurrected, the HD remaster of the iconic horror boomer shooter, will be released on October 17, 2024 for Windows PC and consoles.
Often referred to as the “bastard child of Doom and The 7th Guest,” the game has been revived by the two retro gaming companies for a new generation of gamers.
Killing Time Resurrected takes place in the early 1930s and the player takes on the role of a former Egyptology student who is trapped on the estate of the wealthy heiress Tess Conway.
Ms. Conway’s ritual to give her eternal life backfires, and her high society friends disappear without a trace.
It’s up to players to find and destroy the mystical Egyptian water clock to reverse the curse and face a legion of supernatural horrors.
The original Killing Time quickly became a hit among action, adventure, mystery and puzzle game fans upon its release in 1995.
Killing Time: Resurrected features switchable, high-resolution character graphics/sprites from the original 3DO and PC versions of the game, upscaled environmental textures, smoother gameplay, more responsive controls, and expanded control and button binding settings.
