Nightdive Studios and Ziggurat Interactive announce remaster of comedy horror boomer shooter Killing Time.
Developer Nightdive Studios and publisher Ziggurat Interactive have joined forces. At Guerrilla Collective 2024, the two companies announced Killing Time: Resurrected, an HD edition of the humorous horror shooter that was once known as “Bastard child of Doom and The 7th Guest“ was called.
Nightdive Studios and Ziggurat Interactive will bring back this challenging shooter of gallows humor and visual violence to wreak havoc on Windows PCs and consoles later this year!
The original Killing Time was released Published in 1995 quickly became a hit among fans of action, adventure, puzzle and riddle games.
Killing Time: Resurrected features switchable, high-resolution character graphics/sprites from the original 3DO and PC versions of the game, upscaled environmental textures, smoother gameplay, more responsive controls, and advanced control and key binding settings.
Set in the early 1930s, Killing Time puts the player in the role of a former Egyptology student trapped on the estate of wealthy heiress Tess Conway.
Ms. Conway’s ritual designed to grant her eternal life backfires, and her high society friends disappear without a trace.
It’s up to players to find and destroy the mystical Egyptian water clock to reverse the curse and face a legion of supernatural horrors.
