This time it’s official, Konami and Bloober Team have something planned for us. For a few weeks now, rumors have been circulating about a possible Silent Hill developed by the Polish studio. And this new partnership signed up does all credit to those rumors.
The president of the Bloober team, Piotr Babieno, spoke about this newly closed deal that makes the studio more independent today than ever.
It is a historic day for me and the highlight of our many years of work. The fact that such a prestigious company as KONAMI has decided to work strategically with the Bloober team means that we have joined the big players in the video game industry and have become a full partner for the most important companies in the market.
The contract provides for “the joint development of certain content and the exchange of know-how”. Knowing the Bloober team’s experience in horror games, it seems more than likely that an unprecedented episode of silent Hill is actual. We owe this in particular to the Polish developers The medium, Blair witch, Layers of fears or observer. Suffice it to say that over time the teams have acquired a real mastery in creating a mysterious and scary atmosphere.
Eventually Konami also spoke on the subject and showed his enthusiasm for the idea of working with the studio.
