The post-apocalyptic action RPG Undungeon shows up for release in the new launch trailer.
The cosmic action RPG Undungeon is out now. The fast-paced interdimensional adventure from developer Laughing Machines and publisher tinyBuild has appeared on Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S and is also available in Xbox Game Pass.
As the land slowly crumbles into the invading void of space, only the Heralds – creatures handcrafted by god-like beings – stand between all remaining life and total destruction. Combining elements of story-driven RPGs with fast-paced, villainous upgrades, Undungeon offers PC and Xbox gamers a living story of trials, failures, and hope.
CHARACTERISTICS
Amazing science fiction story
- A universe of alternative worlds has collided with each other and has triggered a cosmic catastrophe. Unpredictable creatures have suddenly broken out and torn apart the settlements of survivors who are desperately trying to put their homes back together. As a Herald, a being who is to restore order in the cosmos, it is your task to destroy these interconnected lands and to bring the earth back together. Decisions you make on your journey can have enormous consequences for the end.
Unique system for character customization
- Heralds can be changed from the inside out – as players collect not only new equipment and skills, but lungs, brains and hearts as well. Loot enemies’ organs or create them from organic matter to give your body various powerful abilities. The core is the main viral organ that you can upgrade and customize to accommodate different builds: from recruiting pets to tanking and applying critical damage.
Crafting system
- In-depth crafting systems that allow you to dismantle basic materials and use the resources you receive to create unique organs, weapons, equipment and consumables that help you define your unique gameplay.
Huge open world
- Explore distant lands and meet their exotic inhabitants – traders and bandits who go about their lives. You can trade with the locals, recruit them to help you in battles, or even destroy their camps.
