The director and creator of Lies of P spoke up and gave an update on the upcoming DLC.
Lies of P players are still waiting for an expansion to the game. But it looks like it will take some time, as the developers “want to do it right” and improve on the areas they have already mastered well.
In an open letter, the director himself has now spoken out:
“Dear citizens of Krat, this is Jiwon Choi, director of Lies of P.”
“It’s hard to believe that a year has passed since we first invited you to Krat.”
“As we endure the heat of the hottest Korean summer yet and work diligently on the upcoming DLC, your continued support and love are everything to us and motivate us to continue to expand the world of Lies of P.”
“My goal as a director to create an entertaining game has never wavered. Your feedback and encouragement have been and will always be a constant source of inspiration for me.”
“For the Lies of FP DLC and sequel, we want to do what we did well even better and improve in areas where we can still grow. This may sound simple, but sticking to the basics is anything but easy. Luckily, I have great colleagues who I can put my full trust in, the NOUGH team and ROUNDS Studio. They have been with me through thick and thin, and we will continue to step forward.”
“It’s funny how time seems to fly when I’m waiting for an anticipated game, but it flies when I’m working on a game. Bridging that gap is perhaps where I have to work the most.”
