Season 4 of Overwatch 2 will begin on April 11. A season marked in red by many players, since it was chosen by Blizzard to add a new hero to the support class. The chosen one was Lifeweaver, the game’s first character of Thai origin.

A new hero that has already been presented to society, with a first trailer where we could enjoy his abilities.

In this preview, Blizzard showed off just how much Lifeweaver can deliver on its own. This new support hero is designed more for positioning than for aiming, since their abilities focus on building platforms to uplift allies or rivals, in addition to various healing abilities. This way we see how he can throw healing petals at allies or use his Life Grip ability with which he pulls allies towards him.

Another of his skills is Petal Platform, with which he creates a platform that lifts both allies and enemies. This has the potential to be very useful in various ways. For example, it can be used to suppress heroes who use a dangerous ultimate, like Bastion or Orisa, as well as give height to teammates who need it, like Widowmaker. And speaking of ultimate abilities, Lifeweaver has Tree of Life, whereby he creates a large tree that heals nearby allies. Due to its size, it could also be used to block lines of sight and as a barrier.
