Marvelous Europe announced that Loop8: Summer of Gods, the upcoming narrative time-travel RPG, will be available on June 6th, 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC via Steam.
Coinciding with the announcement, a new video featuring Ashihara in August 1983, the fateful month in which the game is set, is now available.
Ashihara and its residents hold many mysteries for the player to uncover while defending the city from the ever-present threat of the monstrous Kegai.
Loop8: Summer of Gods is available for pre-order on consoles through the Marvelous Europe website at participating retailers with an MSRP of $49.99. Digital availability details will be announced at a later date.
Loop8: Summer of Gods is a coming-of-age adventure in which the protagonist Nini and his classmates try to defeat the kegai, demonic beings that have brought humanity to the brink of extinction.
Raised on a failed space station called “Hope”, Nini returns to Earth to spend his summer in Ashihara, one of humanity’s last remaining sanctuaries.
With the gift of Demon Sight, Nini can use his special connection to the gods to reset the world. Each loop allows him and his allies to relive the eighth month over and over again until they get it right or the Kegai completely overwhelm them.
Loop8: Summer of Gods is developed by SIEG Games and published by Marvelous Europe and XSEED Games and will be released on June 6th, 2023 for Windows PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch system. The title has been rated PEGI 12, USK 12 and ACB PG.
