EA SPORTS has released a launch trailer for Madden NFL 23. The trial version can be played via EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
The start of the 2022 National Football League (NFL) is upon us, and fittingly, Electronic Arts is releasing EA SPORTS Madden NFL 23.
With his namesake John Madden celebrated on every cover and powered by the game’s PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S version’s game-changing FieldSENSE gameplay system, Madden NFL 23 offers the most authentic 11-on-11 football simulation ever .
FieldSENSE forms the basis for consistent, realistic gameplay. It gives players the control they need to demonstrate their skills on the pitch.
FieldSENSE brings even more realism to the field, thanks in part to a new animation technology that allows the Hit Everything feature to redefine defensive interactions. With new mechanics such as 360° cuts, players can change the direction of the ball carrier at any time and thanks to the “Skill-Based Passing” function, they can control the ball perfectly and play it exactly where they want it.
In addition, there are improvements to central gameplay systems such as zone coverage, pass rush and the containment of strong running quarterbacks, which take balancing to a new level.

In Madden NFL 23, authenticity is maintained throughout the game with new player body types, hundreds of new player and coach illustrations coming at launch and throughout the season, and gear items created using the new player full body and Improved NFL game day kit scans built from scratch.
Franchise mode benefits from brand new improvements to Free Agency and Contracts, plus player tags and motivations that drive player decision making, as well as improved scouting and trade logic. At the same time, Face of the Franchise: The League offers fans the opportunity to choose between five skill positions to build a legendary NFL career as they work toward induction into Madden NFL’s 99 Club.
In Madden Ultimate Team, fans can explore simplified team building and compete at any time as they build their strongest roster of current and legendary NFL stars. The Yard and Superstar KO are back, offering players a fast-paced, fun experience that breaks the rules.
Madden NFL 23 Mobile returns in its ninth season with the full NFL experience on mobile. Players can look forward to a number of gameplay and visual improvements. This includes yearly progression, a revamped trade portal to level up the team, and unprecedented visual improvements for the mobile version like new body shapes, weather options, jumbotron animations and lighting.
Qualifying for the Madden NFL Championship Series (MCS) Ultimate Kickoff tournament will also begin on August 20, 2022.
