According to rumors, the cloud MMO from developer Mainframe is no longer exclusive to Xbox.
The Finnish developer Mainframe is to work on a cloud MMO with the provisional name Pax Dei for Microsoft.
Since the game is being developed for Microsoft, it was previously assumed that it would be released exclusively for consoles and / or PC.
But that does not seem to be the case.
According to new information from Jeff Grubb, Pax Dei is said to be a multiplatform game. Apparently, mainframe received $ 23 million for development. The financing does not come from Microsoft, which is why there is no exclusivity.
There is also talk of one party having played the other in order to increase the amount of money that could be received. The exact background to this is not clear.
