Remedy Entertainment and Rockstar have reached an agreement to bring back the first two titles of the Max Payne saga with a remake
The mythical saga of the FPS Max Payne returns from the hands of Remedy Entertainment, with Rockstar as publisher. This “new” delivery, baptized with the name of New Max Payne 1&2represents the return of one of the best shooters of the early 2000s. The project will have the same developer and publisher as in its original versions and It will arrive in the same version on Xbox
“When our old friends at Remedy approached us about bringing back the Max Payne series, we were really excited,” said Rockstar founder Sam Houser. “We’re big fans of the work Remedy has done over the years, we can’t wait to play these new releases.”
“Max Payn has always held a special place in the hearts of the Remedy team, and we know millions of fans around the world feel the same,” said Tero Virtala, CEO of Remedy. “We’re really excited to be working again with our colleagues at Rockstar Games to bring back the story, action, and atmosphere of the original games to amaze players once again.”
