Side-scrolling action shooter Valfaris: Mecha Therion is coming to consoles later this month. Developed by Steel Mantis and published by Big Sugar, Valfaris: Mecha Therion will be available to download starting August 29 on Nintendo Switch, PS4/PS5, and Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S.
A new arcade-style Challenge Mode will be included with the console versions, which will also be released as a free update for the PC version on August 26.
The sequel to the popular action platformer Valfaris comes Valfaris: Mecha Therion, which sees the return of protagonist Therion as he pilots a metal colossus and continues his pursuit of the evil Lord Vroll. Valfaris: Mecha Therion is set to release on PC in late 2023.
Therion returns and the hunt for Lord Vroll continues. Pilot an advanced machine of death and destruction in this explosive 2.5D side-scrolling shooter, the sequel to the acclaimed Valfaris. After escaping Valfaris, Therion’s hunt for the evil Lord Vroll has taken him across the galaxy.
The Therion Mecha is a large, metal-armored suit that can be equipped with a variety of devastating weapons, including Therion’s signature Hellwraith, a minigun that shoots tormented souls.
