Where some years ago Valve introduced the beautiful Portal and its succession never ceased to reap awards and praise. Thanks to a game based on the physics of materials and the development of portals to interact with them and the beautiful GlaDOS Portal was a success for Valve.
At one point Valve started designing a prequel for Portal with a mechanic also based on physics but with the use of other tools, even though it eventually got canceled. Fortunately we guys at LunchHouse Software specialize in game design based on this side: we talk about it Punt. You can see a small preview below:
Punt will use the same code from the Portal configuration
As we can see in this small video, one of these new mechanics will take us using an old camera that will allow us to capture objects of various sizes to position and adjust as we wish. LunchHouse Software has confirmed that it has received all the support for Valve and that Punt will use the canceled Portal prequel code, so it will undoubtedly come up with an interesting title.
We don't yet have an estimated release date for Punt, but LunchHouse Software promises to release more videos like before where we can see new mechanics. In Xbox Generation we will tell you all the news of this promising article developed by LunchHouse Software.
