Atari and WayForward Technologies are happy to announce an alliance that has resulted in a colorful and enjoyable adventure. It is Yars Rising, a metroidvania inspired by the classic Yars’ Revenge, released in 1982.
In this new project, we will take control of Emi Kimura, a girl who was hired to infiltrate Qotech Corporation and investigate what is happening in these facilities. To complete our mission, we will have no choice but to jump, shoot and infiltrate every corridor and nook and cranny of this company. And even if a priori it seems like a simple story, you have to be aware of what it can offer, since we remind you that WayForward is behind major franchises like Shantae or River City Girls.
