While it’s still nearly impossible to get your hands on an Xbox Series X normally, it looks like Microsoft won’t stop working behind the scenes on new devices. Obviously a company the size of Microsoft always has something new on hand and in this case, the source sharing it is not Microsoft itself, this information has been published, Often Nickon the latest XboxEra podcast.
As he shared the same and we echoed through Reddit, Microsoft could be working on new hardware which, for more data, will be presented this year in the fall. We’re not talking directly about a new console, from the data you’ve shared it could be something no one expects, virtual reality? We do not know…
New hardware from Microsoft on the way?
Microsoft has some new hardware on its hands that will be introduced this fall that is very different from what people expect.
The quote above leaves the door open to different possibilities, in the past we have talked about virtual reality, although to be honest Phil Spencer has always been against a technology which, in his opinion, isolates the player too much and separates of his philosophy for understanding video games.
On the other hand, the time could also come when Microsoft will launch (I’ve talked about it in the past) its own “Xbox Stick”, a device that allows access to all Xbox content via streaming, something similar to what Amazon sells with its devices. We reiterate that these are speculations, but all could come into play. For the moment, as always, in these cases, we ask for caution and patience until it is the company itself that does an official statement on the announcement of this hypothetical new hardware.
