It really was a bit of a strange day that some of the information that we echoed this morning as it came from one of the regulars, Jeff Grubb, who spoke about Microsoft’s general annoyance with the way Xbox has announced its exclusives, and more specifically, that Hi-Fi Rush had failed to live up to expectations.
But the case continued to move forward with the commentary of another of the regulars, Jez Corden, of Windows Central, who even wrote an entire opinion piece on this subject and the doubts that Xbox raises among the leaders of its own company. But the denial, at least directed at Hi-Fi Rush, has been magnificent.
Hi-Fi RUSH has been a resounding success for us and our players in all key metrics and expectations. We couldn’t be happier with what the team at Tango Gameworks has delivered with this surprise release.

Aaron Greenberg cuts to the chase: Hi-Fi Rush was a hit
As you can see above, Aaron Greenberg himself responded to a tweet from Corden himself with a tweet that was even retweeted by Phil Spencer, here we translate it for you:
Hi-Fi Rush has been a resounding success for us and our players across all key metrics and expectations. We couldn’t be happier with what the team at Tango Gameworks has delivered with this surprise release.
Perhaps Microsoft needs to improve some aspects of its communication, because precisely the announcement of 30fps in Redfall has not been well received by the community. But from there to spreading rumors that one of the best exclusives of the year didn’t exceed expectations, there’s a big step. Greenberg went to court, with Phil Spencer as squire and we wouldn’t be surprised if there were any additional comments on that.
