- In September we shared our vision of continuous improvement Microsoft Flight Simulator by regularly providing meaningful updates to the simulator. Today we are releasing our fourth World Update and are pleased to be able to offer the Simmers a fascinating flight experience throughout Western Europe.
Starting today, the latest free world update for Microsoft Flight Simulator brings Flugsimmer to France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg (FRBENELUX).
In the heart of Western Europe, relive the spirit of a bygone era mixed with modern influences and attractions as you explore a myriad of landmarks – from coastal communities to urban centers, idyllic vineyards to epic mountain ranges and world-famous resorts – all with breathtaking upgrades and visual enhancements .
World Update IV: France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg offer improved digital elevation data and aerial images, high-resolution 3D photogrammetry for two of the most famous cities in Europe, Paris and Amsterdam, as well as three new, carefully handcrafted airports (Megève, Nice and Rotterdam) as well as visual and logistical improvements at 100 other airports in the entire region.
Newly added architectural elements add authenticity to countless procedurally generated locations, while more than 100 famous landmarks and landmarks have been individually treated to bring impeccable attention to detail to the region’s most memorable landmarks – more castles and cathedrals, monuments and museums. Palaces, bridges, lighthouses, dams, windmills and stadiums.
To build on this multitude of visual improvements, two new activities have been added: an exhilarating Landing Challenge in La Salette and an impressive Bush trip into the heights of the Pyrenees and the Alps.
