The bug causes audio to get out of sync when capturing gameplay from the Game Bar, a bug that is particularly accentuated when using the “Save Last 30 Seconds” option. The American company has already acknowledged the problem and has implemented a small fix in the form of a retention update. The Xbox Game Bar app may experience audio out of sync issues when capturing gameplay to a video file. You are more likely to experience this issue when using the “Save Last 30 Seconds” feature when “Record in the background while I play a game” is enabled in the Xbox Game Bar.
Applications that capture or render video files using the same underlying Windows APIs or libraries as Xbox Game Bar may also be affected by this issue.
The American company ensures that by mid-November the solution should be in place for everyone. In the meantime, if you need to fix the problem, you should be patient as Microsoft advises against updating manually.
