Nintendo’s new console will arrive in 2024 and will also have support from Microsoft to bring Call of Duty to the platform.
After all the romance about Microsoft's purchase of Activision Blizzard, the court documents have left us with many interesting pearls about how the industry works and each company's strategies for staying strong in the market. Within these "leaks", one of the most important was that of the existence of a new model of Nintendo Switch, to which Call of Duty will arrive.
As we've reported before, Microsoft has been busy signing temporary deals promising that Call of Duty will reach all platforms within 10 years. One of the companies that signed on was Nintendo, a company that no longer has Call of Duty in its catalog of games. Since the Nintendo Wii they don't have this Activision saga, so after the agreement there is a commitment to bring it to the new version of Nintendo Switch.

A new Switch model is coming in 2024
From this moment we can only speak with rumors and assumptions about what the agreement with Microsoft and Nintendo can favor Xbox. The truth is that according to the docs, there is a model after the Nintendo Switch that is in development and is said to arrive in late 2024. This reveal implies that this generation's competition is going to step up in a different way.
For now, what's going on in this whole novel is that the FTC has failed to block the deal and now Microsoft is free to make the deal with Activision at any time.
