The biggest exponents of the fighting genre in recent months, Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1, have not escaped the temptation to include microtransactionsa feature that didn’t reach Tekken 8 when it released last month, but the scourge of these modern times will finally catch up with Bandai Namco’s title.
Microtransactions would arrive via a store in the game called “Tekken Store”, where it is possible that you can get all kinds of itemsalthough they are most likely purely cosmetic elements, the kind that remain in the saga.
An interesting future for delivery despite micropayments
Full information on the store’s contents and how it works would arrive on February 20 when Bandai Namco reveal the roadmap for what’s coming to the game in the futurethis will most likely include other DLC that hasn’t been shown off so far.
