Milestone, one of the world’s leading racing game developers, is celebrating its 25th anniversary today.
The story began in Milan, when a small group of true video game enthusiasts launched Graffiti, which was later renamed Milestone in 1996. We owe them a game that is still considered a masterpiece in the world of racing video games: Yell. Its worldwide success has made the company a leading brand in the field of PC driving games.
In the years that followed, craftsmanship, passion and attention to detail helped Milestone capture the attention of some of the world’s largest AAA publishers. With this, they developed their first officially licensed titles: SBK and the series MotoGP. A lasting partnership that has entertained more than 5 million players since its release.
At 2012, A breakthrough happened: Milestone began to self-publish its own games, expanding its license portfolio with two new off-road motorcycle racing games: The Video Game Series. MXGP, with its 50 million worldwide revenues over the years and, more recently, official video games Monster Energy Supercross, a very successful franchise that has been played by over 4 million players in recent years.
The same year, another big step was taken for Milestone with its first franchise, STROLL. Over time, RIDE has delighted lovers of two wheels with its extensive collection of motorcycles. Which earned him the Guinness Record in 2016 for the largest list of licensed motorcycles in a video game.

Thus, he is officially part of the group. This year marks the celebration of its 25th anniversary and one of the biggest launches in the company’s long history: Hot Wheels Unleashed.
