A few days ago, Nvidia announced that we would finally be able to enjoy the beta of Minecraft Bedrock Edition and RTX. This would somehow be available, but it would be the first way we would get this option when the light would change completely.
The date chosen to be available for today is April 16, and as we can find out 10 new maps where each of them will show the most common entries with this Beta. First of all it is important to emphasize that tests, as they can provide errors.
Minecraft will install Ray Tracing and DLSS 2.0
The power of Nvidia graphics with RTX is less known, and that is since the 2060s we've seen. This, combined with Minecraft, allows us to have an experience closer to what Shaders is not. Of course, this version will be different, with real-time light and a completely new setting.
One of the biggest problems with Shaders, or many of them, is that it's underground where the light options are very limited. This is something that will be a bit noticeable in this version, because here it is light in real time.
In addition, for this launch we will have colored lamps, something that can be done on a Minecraft base and that can allow for lots of play. In total, we will have 10 fully customized maps to play around the world.
For now cannot create a map, are the only ones available, but the first estimate of the future. This is the first beta and there are still bugs, so it will improve and come with more freedom in the future.
How to join this Minecraft beta
This beta requires us to specifically request to install this version, as it is a separate branch from the current beta version, which is at 1.16.57 and this is 1.15.7. To do this, we will need to take a few steps.
First up will be Minecraft Bedrock Edition, either have a Java version provided by Windows 10, or buy it from Microsoft Store
If we're here, we should go to Insider's content, Minecraft for Windows 10 and join if we haven't already done so. Once this is done, we can select from the menu Beta version of Minecraft for Windows 10 RTX. It may take a while to accept, but once you have agreed, we can enjoy this option. In addition, we can make it work and work to see how it evolves.
Among the requirements, we must have a Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or higher, in addition to the Intel Core i5 and 8 GB of RAM. These are the minimum hardware requirements. In the end, it will be necessary to download the drivers released yesterday, or else it will not work.
