STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl will receive mod support not only on PC, but also on Xbox Series X|S.
GSC Game World will not only provide the PC version with mod support. Players will also be able to use this feature on Xbox Series X|S.
Technical producer Yevhenii Kulyk confirmed the support for Microsoft consoles in particular to Radio Times Gaming.
Kulyk said in the interview: “We are aware that our player base, mainly the old players, are waiting for our game to also support mods. We are bringing the mods to console so they will be available on both Xbox and PC.”
Speaking about the scope of mod support for consoles, Kulyk said that they are “basically creating and preparing a large toolkit that will give mod makers all the necessary tools to create mods, from the smallest to the largest Complete implementations [des Spiels].”
Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl will be released on November 20th for Xbox Series X|S, PC and Game Pass.
