Xbox promises to end the year on a high note with games like Forza Horizon 5 O Hello InfinityBut we won’t have to wait long for more great titles on our systems. One of the most anticipated exclusives is Ascension, a game in which we still wonder if it should be qualified as “Independent” or not. And it is that the work that Neon Giant has done with this title aims to be exceptional. Actors and the media have followed its development very closely, and we look forward to testing it in Game pass at the end of this month. Arcade Berg releases new ascension facts
Recently, in an interview with Windows Central, the co-founder of Neon Giant, Berg Arcade, spoke on various topics related to the development of Ascension. Among them he pointed out how it was to work in such an ambitious project made up of only 11 peopleas well as your experience with the Unreal Engine. He was also asked what it was like to achieve such a balance between such different systems. Berg details some of the challenges those with which the study was confronted in the case of an intergenerational diploma.
“We’re basically forcing the old Xbox to run a whole new game, and that takes a lot of brute force. So there are certainly things that force us to go back a bit. But the catch is, we can’t opt out of everything that affects the game because we have cross play. So if Xbox One wants to share with Series X, they have to have the same game, right? Although we may be removing some physical effects or something that only the X series can afford. But it’s just “sexy, you can’t have less enemies”. It’s like ‘On my screen there are eight!’, Or ‘Oh really? I only have two. “We can’t do that, and that’s the challenge.”

Regarding the PC platform, the developer also specifies that “It also works on very, very humble PCs, but it’s a completely different architecture between PCs and consoles.
Ascension will be launched on July 29 for Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One and PC, as well as Game pass, even if preloads they’re available now on Xbox systems and in the Microsoft Store.
