The Sharandar story is coming to an end Never winter with episode 3: The Abominable Court! In this final episode, we are greeted by the arrival of Etrien the Bard, a familiar face who has come to seek your help. Far from the hellish landscapes in which we first encountered Etria, she has now returned to her old homeland, concerned about the recent attacks on Sharandar. While the threats from The Night and Annis Hags are said to have been dealt with, Etrien brings news of a group of dryads who have been evicted from their home in the repaired grove and are seeking help.
For those willing to aid the displaced dryads, brave adventurers are led through a series of dubious tasks to uncover the nature of the supposed dryad leader, Lithoceae. With the help of the Elves of Iliyanbruen and a healthy dose of suspicion, adventurers will reveal the final parts of this story. It will fall on you, the heroes of Neverwinter, to offer resolute resistance against the corrupting forces and their rulers!
The start of this final episode will also give way to the release of Vault of Stars: Twisted Denizens on July 20th. This hardcore mode features updated challenges for those who believe they have completed the dungeon and defeated the queen of air and darkness. Using the K-Team’s private queuing system, Twisted Denizens is introducing a special series of rare spawns in Alcoves of Light – rooms only available when Vault of Stars is running in this new mode. Those who are ready to face these enemies will have a chance to obtain the necessary components necessary to create the Ring of Darkness and the Ring of Air.
While completing the original star vault without fatalities gives the achievement “Flawless Victory”, a Twisted Denizens run without fatalities leads to a “Perfect Run” achievement. Players who find all three Alcoves of Light will also receive “Head to the Light”. In addition to these dungeon achievements, the release of Episode 3: The Odious Court will also allow players to complete Defender of the Feywild.
For those who do not meet the minimum level of 40,000 items required for the new Sharandar campaign, this requirement will be lifted in the first two weeks after the release of Episode 3 and all willing adventurers will be welcomed.
