Nostalgia meets authenticity in an immersive family board game experience MONOPOLY.
Ubisoft announced today that MONOPOLY, a fresh, next-generation digital version of the timeless classic, has been released today. The game costs $29.99 Microsoft Store.
Launching a decade after MONOPOLY PLUS and licensed by leading toy and game manufacturer Hasbro, the new digital MONOPOLY game features improved graphics and gameplay, complete with a fully animated 3D city classic tabletop experience brought to life.
As they move around the board, players can admire the neighborhood and watch it transform before their eyes, from sunny morning to stormy night. Sore losers can let their anger out and simply throw the board over and start over.
Every corner of the city can be explored to uncover hidden tiles or even find Mr. Monopoly, who may be hiding in secret!
“As MONOPOLY approaches its 90th birthday in 2025, it is our pleasure to work with Ubisoft to develop a brand new version of the classic – one that will digitally immerse players and explore the neighborhoods and locations on the board “Brought to life,” says Eugene Evans, SVP Digital Strategy and Licensing at Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast.
“This collaboration with Ubisoft underscores our ongoing strategy to expand our digital games portfolio and grow our iconic brands around the world.”
Family and friends enjoy the feeling of an authentic tabletop experience in the digital world together. Up to six players compete locally against each other or online against real estate moguls from all over the world.
The digital MONOPOLY game is perfect for a game night – players can share a controller or each use their own.
Would you like a change? The MONOPOLY gaming experience can be extensively customized, with personalized dice and tiles or even your own rules.
The digital MONOPOLY game has numerous features that allow players to customize their gaming experience, from Quick Mode, which forces players to change their strategies, to Quick Dice, which allows faster progress on the board and shorter Matches possible.
With new ways to play and a growing list of culturally relevant editions, there truly is a MONOPOLY for everyone.
