A ‘Smash Bros.’ featuring characters from the Warner universe? Put me 100. Fighting Batman, Rick & Morty or SpongeBob SquarePants among others is an idea that drives me crazy. Now all you need is that it is well executed; having such a diverse team is a red flag that something can go wrong if not properly measured.
But anyway, since Warner they seem to be working on such a game. It’s called Multiversus, and I think a lot of images have been leaked so far as they confirm that at least this has already existed. . In fact, Warner himself is eliminating them and claiming the rights, so that’s a sign that confirms he’s alive.
Improved designs, but well-planned gameplay
The point is, now we have a new batch, and I hope they’re still around while you’re reading this since Warner insisted on taking them down almost everywhere. An absurd task because you will never be able to do it completely. But the point is, here they are and we can show them to you.
The screenshots look like something out of a concept book for the game, and maybe the designs could be improved a lot. We know that Multiversus will be a free game, although we do not know its monetization system.

Playable multiverse details
- Finn takes on the role of Coin Battle (think of him as Steve in Smash, where you need the resources one way or another).
- Shaggy is literally based entirely on the Shaggy Ultra Instinct.
- There is no sign of Morty in Rick's movements.
- There is no sign of Big Chungus in the Bugs moveset.
- Garnet from Steven Universe and Arya from Game of Thrones are confirmed to be playable.
- The Bat Cave, Finn's Tree House and Planet Schwifty are scenarios in which to fight. They have several variations, but the developers are likely to stick to just one.
- Rick is a heavy projectile type, he uses his portal gun, leaving portals that allies can pass through but enemies cannot. It also has an attack that turns you into a defenseless baby version.
- Tom and Jerry are more like Rosalina and Luma, Jerry being Luma, except Jerry can't be hurt.
Keep in mind that there is currently no official announcement about Multiversus, so we have to wait for Warner to comment on it. I am personally delighted with the idea, what do you think?
