Every decision counts in the hand-drawn RPG VED, coming November 14th for PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
Fulqrum Publishing and Karaclan are pleased to announce that their RPG title VED will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox consoles and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and GoG.
Featuring hand-drawn graphics and animations, turn-based combat mechanics and roguelite elements, VED tells the story of Cyrus, a young hero who sets out to become a master of sword and magic and save everything he knows from destruction.
Cyrus has arrived in the city of Micropolis in search of a new life – but he gets more than he bargained for when he suddenly discovers the ability to teleport between two interconnected worlds – t he human world and a magical world full of mystery flying islands, strange creatures and dangerous monsters.
From there he sets off on a journey where every decision is important. The player helps Cyrus discover the truth about this magical place and decide the fate of the two worlds. To succeed in his quest, Cyrus must master the powerful magic of the Veds.
The game’s vast fantasy world, characters, and aesthetic design are inspired by various cultures and mythologies. During Cyrus’ quest, he will encounter various factions that have different views on the events that are taking place. By helping the inhabitants of the magical lands and the human world, Cyrus learns more about himself, both universes, and, most importantly, how he can save them all… or become their undoing.
