Gearbox co-founder Randy Pitchford teased a new installment in the series, which could be called Borderlands 4.
Randy Pitchford may have teased Borderlands 4. The co-founder of Gearbox Software actually spoke to IGN about the Borderlands movie. There were excerpts from the first pictures yesterday, while the trailer is expected for today.
Pitchford talked about a new project, but didn’t name the child. When asked about his personal favorite game from the series, there was a possible teaser for the new part.
Pitchford said: “Look, we haven’t even announced any of this yet. We are clearly working on something. And I know what we’re working on, and holy shit… It’s the greatest thing we’ve ever done. And I can’t wait, but it’s not time yet. It’s not that far yet. There will come a time.”
In the last few weeks there have been recaps of the first two Borderlands games via social media. If this rhythm is maintained, the last recap of the series will end at the start of PAX East, where Borderlands 3 was also announced at the time.
