New PC features now for all users

Insiders have been able to test new functions in the Xbox app since the end of October, and they have now been rolled out to all users.

At the end of October we told you about the latest features of the Xbox app for Windows PC, which initially could only be tested by insiders. The new features are now available to all users.

The innovations include:

• Faster access to your favorite games
• Easier to see highlights such as the latest releases, events and new titles in Game Pass
• An expanded gaming offering with over 400 additional titles now available to find and purchase through the app, including titles like Shovel Knight Treasure Trove, Jackbox Party Pack and The Invincible
• Over 100 new titles that will be playable on both PC and console with Xbox Play Anywhere
• The “Jump Back” feature, which allows you to click on any game card in compact mode to go back to the hub and dive straight back into the game

The app developers also note that the “handheld” category is becoming increasingly popular. They want to announce the next big news about the app at the Game Developers Conference, which will take place in San Francisco in March of next year.
