A new release date has been announced for Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened and new pictures have been released.
Ukrainian developer Frogwares is entering the final days of its successful Kickstarter campaign for Sherlock Holmes The Awakened.
The project has already been 320% funded. It reached its original destination within just 6 hours of launch. The campaign ends on Saturday, September 3rd at 3:30 p.m.
Sergey Oganesyan, Head of Communications at Frogwares, said: “The support and kind words to the team through this campaign have been overwhelming. All of our backers have given us something really positive to focus on and a safety net that allows us to develop the game at our own pace. We will forever be indebted to those people who stood by us when it felt like our whole lives were falling apart.”
The developers have also released new screenshots of the game while giving a more accurate release date of February 2023.
Denys Chebotarov, Producer at Frogwares: “Based on the progress of the production and the success of the crowdfunding campaign, it looks like we could release the game as early as February 2022. At least that’s what we’re aiming for as a team now. But we want people to understand that everything can change, be it in the country as a whole or just internally within our own team, to force us to release later. The safety and viability of our team will always have to take precedence over all other release timing decisions.”
Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened will be released for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4|5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
