The players expect new seasons from Rogue Company, Beat, and Paladins – and Hi-Rez Studios revealed all the epic details at our annual keynote last week.

Would you like to learn more about the new villain Kestrel, a new map and gods of the Babylonian conquest, or the world-eating wormmaster Yagorath? Read on for all the details.

Next month, Rogue Company kicks off the first season of the Year One Pass with Kestrel, our newest villain. Kestrel shares her time between running a multinational business empire and saving the world from impending destruction Rogue Company. Armed with her advanced SMG assault rifle and an array of Halo drones that she can deploy to rain down Hellfire, Kestrel is ready for any situation and has a reputation for winning every battle she finds herself in, be it in the Boardroom or on the battlefield!

Kestrel will be followed by seven more villains over the course of 2021, offering a varied line-up spanning a range of roles and play styles. Don’t you want to miss a single villain? The Year One Pass is coming to Rogue Companyand grants instant access to every villain as soon as it’s released – plus bonus content like gun wrappers and an exclusive outfit.

The first year is also introduced seasonally Rogue Company Battle Pass events offer our players a new way to earn amazing new content – including new weapon wrappers, emotes, and outfits. Our first Battle Pass includes new outfits for Fixer, Dallas and Trench and our first legendary Scorch outfit – as a chrome-plated cyber demon programmed to burn anyone who stands in its way!

This year the Rogue Company will also tackle missions around the world as we introduce new maps and new modes each season. Season one begins with the launch of The Hollows, a secret base built by the devious Jackal organization to launch a rocket into space. Our next update will also introduce the new Wingman mode, a fast-paced 2-on-2 game type that allows players to compete against each other in intense battles on all of the new battle maps.

Smite Season 8: Dawn of Babylon brings a new map for Core Conquest mode and a brand new pantheon of gods.

When the season premieres on January 26th, the Conquest Map will get a revamped look inspired by the Baylonian myth. The goddess TIamat banished Cthulhu and freed the battlefields of his dark influence. In doing so, she has redesigned the world according to her own image – magnificent in gold and Babylonian architecture. The new Conquest map is also larger than the old map and features new jungle challenges that provide additional opportunities for strategic gameplay.

Even better, this is not the only time BeatThe Conquest Map will be updated in Season 8. This year’s Conquest Map is a living map that is updated quarterly with new graphics and changes in gameplay. Season 8 always has something new to look forward to on the Battlefield of the Gods.

The monster queen Tiamat not only reshaped the world. she is also Beatis the next playable god to introduce the Babylonian pantheon BeatList of gods. Soon after, the coveted epic hero Gilgamesh will arrive to challenge Tiamat. Both gods should join this Beat Roster in early 2021 with Tiamat arriving in February.

These two Babylonian gods are just the beginning of an incredible season eight lineup. Four more gods will follow over the course of 2021, and eagle-eyed fans can read our season eight god teaser trailer to develop their best theories on who will join the battlefield of the gods.

More announcements in the Beat The presentation included the Most Wanted Battle Pass, a Janus makeover, item updates, balance changes, and more for the first update of the year. As a special bonus, Xbox One players can get exclusive access to our console game test server so they can check out the new season eight content before the official launch!

Paladins Season 4: Calamity will start on February 3rd with the all-devouring worm Yagorath. Yagorath is a champion who can only be described as the ultimate cosmic horror. He enters the realm after being teased for years. Beginning with the breaking of the moon and the creation of Io and culminating in her release by the vengeful former seal-keeper Vora, Yagorath threatens the paladin world like nothing before.

As the frontline, Yagorath leads her team to victory by spitting acid, firing deadly spikes, and devouring any champions trapped in their path. That’s right – Yagorath’s ultimate literally lets you defeat an enemy champion.

In order to fight Yagorath and fend off the darkness, not only must the resistance and magistrate unite, but new champions will also arise to defend the realm. Don’t miss a single champion from this incredible season with the new Season Pass, which grants you every champion on launch day, an exclusive skin for everyone and other bonuses.

Not only are we starting this year with one of the most unique champions of all time, we’re also announcing a major overhaul of our Battle Pass system. Starting with Season 4, these revamped Event Passes will be released with every patch update, so players can earn new content, such as exclusive skins and emotes, more frequently throughout the year. To top it off, a number of other updates will be available over the course of 2021, including map updates, custom game mode options, and the long-awaited return of limited-time modes.
