If you’re into action-adventure games, you may have heard of Deadpool. Released in 2013, this game was developed by High Moon Studios and published by Activision, now owned by Microsoft. The story follows Deadpool, the Marvel character known for his sarcastic humor and ability to break the fourth wall, as he embarks on a quest to star in his own video game.
At the time, the game received generally positive reviews for its humor and gameplay. However, some critics pointed out that the story can be a bit predictable and that the game’s length is relatively short. Despite this, the game has become a classic among fans of the series and gamers in general.
Rumors of a remaster in the air
Recently, rumors have surfaced regarding a possible re-release of the game on Xbox. According to Xbox Era’s Shpeshal Nick, Microsoft is reportedly working with Marvel to re-license the port of Deadpool and Marvel Ultimate Alliance to the Xbox Series. This could mean that players could enjoy the game on Xbox once again, with possible improvements and updates.
There is currently no solid evidence for this beyond the Xbox Era Owners Speculationsso I would take this with a grain of salt. However, if they do confirm it would be good news for fans as well as Microsoft, who would benefit from the character’s appeal.
