This morning, we woke up to a piece of news that had been circulating for a long time, but it was only today that it was made official. As we told you a few minutes ago, Bloober Team and Konami have formalized a collaboration agreement which, given the studio’s trajectory with horror games, it’s pretty clear that it will be about working on a new Silent Hill.
Konami has already commented on several occasions how it intends to enter into agreements of this type to develop games from its sagas, so in that sense it is not a surprise. And if you could catch more than one stray, it’s because the Japanese company isn’t just relying on the Polish studio for a new Silent Hill, having at least one more title based on the saga in development.
New Silent Hills are finally in development
This information comes from the media VGC, which ensures that in addition to the Bloober Team there would be another certainly famous studio working on the development of a Silent Hill. This is completely consistent with the rumors that have been circulating in recent months that there was more than one Silent Hill in development.
VGC sources confirm that Bloober Team’s Konami partnership is tied to Silent Hill, but the intellectual property has also been licensed to a leading Japanese studio for a separate project:https://t.co/qs9m6ENN3Y

Unfortunately, it looks like we’ll have to wait a long time to see what these new Silent Hill will do, but given how great The Medium has been, it’s clear that we can’t expect a bad game from the next team. Bloobler.
