The arcade racing game New Star GP will launch in March with a retro look and lots of content.
Developer New Star Games, the BAFTA-winning studio responsible for hit games such as New Star Soccer, Retro Goal and Retro Bowl, is pleased to announce that its new retro-style racing game, New Star GP, will be released on November 7th. New Star GP is a fast and exciting arcade motorsport game with stunning retro visuals. Like all New Star Games titles, New Star GP is simple to play at its core, but contains a surprising amount of depth and detail that rewards the player with an experience unlike any other game.
Play Career Mode, starting in the ’80s, and work your way through 5 decades of racing while upgrading your car and support team, or hunt for the top score in Championship Mode, solo or in split-screen with up to three friends.
The game features 176 unique events including time trials, checkpoint races, reverse races, rival races, elimination races and GP-style races! Compete against 45 unique drivers from all decades of racing, each with their own personality and driving style.
Drive on 17 beautiful tracks around the world, each with unique play styles, weather conditions and track wear values, offering a varied racing experience that requires different racing strategies to maximize the chances of success.
New Star GP also features 17 unique championship competitions on the Career Mode tracks, which can be played in either single player mode or with up to 4 players. Each of these competitions has a unique selection of tracks and game settings. The game also features a mode that allows players to create their own customized championship competitions.
Sets the number of laps, weather, track configuration, difficulty level, race speed and a variety of other options. Custom competitions can be played in single or multiplayer mode with up to 4 players.
