A new demo for PC has been released System shockthe complete remake of the groundbreaking 1994 original game, which was released as part of the Steam NextFest which runs until February 13.
Combining cult gameplay with new HD visuals, updated controls, a revamped interface, with all new sounds and music (it even features the original SHODAN voice actor), the demo will allow users to experience all the starting level, no holds barred, as they take on SHODAN and his terrifying minions.
Players will need a combination of stealth, cunning, and futuristic weaponry to fight their way through Citadel Station’s new areas, traps, puzzles, and secrets to reach SHODAN.
Facing them is an army of hostile mutated creatures, created and controlled by SHODAN herself, which players will have to fight or avoid to survive. System shock is now available for early booking for PC on Steam, GOG and the Epic Game Store. The title will also be released on PlayStation 4|5 and on Xbox One and Series S|X.
