Today, 2K and Gearbox Software released New Tales from the Borderlands worldwide. Expanding on the Borderlands universe, the new choice-based story adventure is available now for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4|5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The spiritual successor to Telltale Games’ best-selling title, New Tales from the Borderlands is a brand new game that continues the adventurous storytelling of the original. Set in the perpetual war-torn metropolis of Meridian, players take control of three loveable losers on the worst day of their lives and experience deep, engaging story scenes, mini-games and free-roaming sequences. Each choice made by the players can – often surprisingly – change the development of the story.

New Tales from the Borderlands includes an array of compelling narrative dynamics and features that take the cinematic experience to a new level:

You’ve got nothing left to lose and things can only get better as you fight and trick your way through this exciting five-part story filled with armed villains, otherworldly beasts and delicious tacos.
- An explosive, cinematic adventure. The Borderlands isn’t just filled with Vault Hunters, bandits, and gun company CEOs, but also plenty of downtrodden, intrepid civilians just trying to get by. Featuring a cast of familiar and new faces, including an assassin bot with a comedic streak and an unusually unhomicidal bandit, this unforgettable story will delight fans old and new.
- Your own decisions determine the course. The players’ choices determine how the story ends.
