In el PC Gaming Show, NACON and the Bordeaux studio Big bad wolf have unveiled a new trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong, the narrative RPG based on the popular RPG franchise. The video features a tormented young woman named Leysha, one of three playable characters. Leysha is a Malkavian, one of the founding clans of the Camarilla, and appears as a young woman in her thirties. Under his pale skin and his pupils of different sizes hides an incurable pain, a mental instability that everything. Malkavian suffer after Embrace. The bite inflicted on a human by a vampire, a creature doomed to remain hidden in plain sight.
Unique mechanics
In the video, Leysha innocently playing with his daughter, Halsey. But this benign situation turns into a nightmare upon being awake, asking the question: is all of this real? To hide, Leysha uses dazzle, one of the many vampire powers that can be used in the game. As a Narrative RPG, Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong offers unique game mechanics. Solve conflicts and mysteries to gain experience points and improve your characters, thus increasing your special powers.
In this narrative RPG adapted from the Fifth Edition of Vampire: The Masquerade, the player take control of 3 vampires belonging to different clans of the Camarilla, the secret society to which most vampires belong. Between the intertwined stories, the player must confront the different points of view of his characters to disentangle reality and fiction. With whispers of conspiracy, murder and power struggles, the player must protect his clan, uncover the truth and, most importantly, apply Masquerade, the vampiric law designed to hide the existence of night creatures from humans.
